Haoran Mo is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Thrust of Computational Media and Arts (CMA) at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). He received his PhD, MSc and BEng degrees from Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU) in 2024, 2020 and 2018, respectively. He did a research intern at Simo-Serra Lab. (Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan) in 2019.
His research interests include computer graphics and computer vision, particularly in sketch understanding and generation, line drawing-based content generation (AIGC), and 2D animation. He has published several papers in top international journals and conferences including TOG, SIGGRAPH, SIGGRAPH Asia, and ECCV. He serves as a reviewer for conferences SIGGRAPH, SIGGRAPH Asia, EuroGraphics (EG), Pacific Graphics (PG), etc, and for journals TOG and CGF. He was awarded CCF-CAD&CG Excellent Student in 2021.
